2001 Ford Ranger

This project came in with the bodywork complete. We just needed to paint it.

In this case we really didn't know what was used for primer or bodywork. Normally we use a sealer anyway but in this situation it's really needed to lock in anything below. So we used Valspar 98N mixed as a sealer and tinted medium blue. We could have tinted it much darker but we already had some from a previous job left.

Aftaer waited the required 30 minutes we started the actual topcoat. We used the 333 series basecoat system applying three coats to be sure of coverage. This was important since customer had already painted the jambs. We followed with three coats of Valspar AC4400 clear. This was cut and buffed the next day and delivered.
